SYRGIS ANNOUNCES “SYRGING AHEAD” AWARD WINNER
CINCINNATI – (Sept. 15, 2010) – Syrgis®, an international diversified group of fine and specialty chemical manufacturers, today announced that Hebei KNT FRP Co. Ltd. is the recipient of a Syrging Ahead™ Award for Quality and Safety Improvements. The award was presented (in abstentia) to Mr. Gao Donghe (Mr. 郜东河), Chairman of Hebei KNT Group in a ceremony held in conjunction with the China Composites Expo show in Shanghai, China.

Hebei KNT, working as a team with Wuxi GLD International Trade Co, LTD. and Syrgis, has implemented process modifications, which improved quality and enhanced safety. KNT was able to leverage these improvements to win business for 8 meter diameter pipes installed at Xuzhou power plant, the largest power plant in China. This partnership approach will further strengthen Hebei KNT’s position as a leader in the industry, and reaffirms Syrgis’ strategy in China.
