Norox® MEKP - 925 FRED

Chemical Name:
methyl ethyl ketone peroxide

MEKP-925 FRED has a high MEKP dimer content that gives excellent performance in most vinyl ester resins. It also performs well when used with general purpose ortho and isophthallic resins.

Application Details:

MEKP-925 FRED is formulated to be an excellent cure initiator for both unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl ester resins. With most unsaturated polyesters, it gives longer gel and gel to cure times, but with a higher peak exotherm than Norox MEKP-9, particularly in thick sections.

Norox® FS-100/9

Chemical Name:
methyl ethyl ketone peroxide
CAS Numbers:
1338-23-4

Norox FS-100/9 is an MEKP formulation high in hydrogen peroxide content that provides fast gel and green strength development.

Application Details:

Norox FS-100/9 is primarily used in highly filled resin systems. It is not recommended for gel coats or vinyl ester resins.

Andonox® 7030

Chemical Name:
peroxide mixtures

Andonox® 7030 is a mixture of ketone peroxides with dimethyl phthalate as a phlegmatiser.

Application Details:

Andonox® 7030 is an initiator for the curing of most polyester resins at both room - and elevated temperatures. It is best suited for singly promoted resins using cobalt promotion alone.

Andonox® KP - LE

Chemical Name:
Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide (MEKP)

ANDONOX KP - LE is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) in phlegmatiser for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at ambient temperature in combination with cobalt accelerators.

Application Details:

ANDONOX KP-LE is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) with higher content of free hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to provide shorter gel time then the ANDONOX KP-9. It is suitable for hand lay-up, spray-up, RTM, continuous laminating, centrifugal casting, filament winding, polyester concrete and vacuum infusion.

Active Oxygen Content: 8.7 - 9.0 %
Physical Appearance: Colourless and clear liquid
Soluble In: Oxygenated organic solvents
Insoluble In: Water
Storage Temperature: Max 25C

Norox® MEKP - 9H

Chemical Name:
methyl ethyl ketone peroxide
CAS Numbers:
1338-23-4

NOROX MEKP - 9 H is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) in phlegmatizer for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at ambient temperature in combination with cobalt accelerators.

Application Details:

NOROX MEKP-9H is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide which features a reduced level of hydrogen peroxide compared to Andonox KP - 9 and gives a longer gel time when workshop and resin temperatures increase during warm weather.

Norox® MEKP - 925 H

Chemical Name:
methyl ethyl ketone peroxide
CAS Numbers:
1338-23-4

NOROX MEKP - 925H is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide composition formulated to be an excellent cure initiator for both unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl ester resins.

Application Details:

NOROX MEKP - 925H is specifically formulated to reduce gas generation in critical corrosion applications for vinyl ester resins in gel coats, barrier coatings, and corrosion resistant structures.

Norox MEKP-925 is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide composition formulated to be an excellent cure initiator for both unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl ester resins.

Application Details:

Norox MEKP-925 has a high MEKP dimer content that gives excellent performance in most vinyl ester resins.

Norox® MEKP - 900

Chemical Name:
methyl ethyl ketone peroxide
CAS Numbers:
1338-23-4

Norox MEKP - 900 is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) with a high hydrogen peroxide level that can offer faster gel times at low ambient temperatures in most resin systems.

Application Details:

Norox MEKP-900 is a specially formulated methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) composition for the room temperature cure of unsaturated polyester resins.

Norox® MEKP - 30

Chemical Name:
methyl ethyl ketone peroxide
CAS Numbers:
1338-23-4

Norox MEKP - 30 is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) which is a reduced strength version of Norox MEKP-9.

Application Details:

Norox MEKP-30 provides more accurate metering control in hot weather or with highly reactive resin systems and is an excellent liquid initiator for the polymerization of vinyl monomers and is particularly useful in the room temperature cure of polyester resins.
