Chemical Name:
methyl ethyl ketone peroxide
CAS Numbers:
1338-23-4

NOROX MEKP - 9 H is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) in phlegmatizer for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins at ambient temperature in combination with cobalt accelerators.

Application Details:

NOROX MEKP-9H is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide which features a reduced level of hydrogen peroxide compared to Andonox KP - 9 and gives a longer gel time when workshop and resin temperatures increase during warm weather.

Norox® MEKP - 900

Chemical Name:
methyl ethyl ketone peroxide
CAS Numbers:
1338-23-4

Norox MEKP - 900 is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) with a high hydrogen peroxide level that can offer faster gel times at low ambient temperatures in most resin systems.

Application Details:

Norox MEKP-900 is a specially formulated methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) composition for the room temperature cure of unsaturated polyester resins.

Norox® MEKP - 9

Chemical Name:
methyl ethyl ketone peroxide
CAS Numbers:
1338-23-4

Norox MEKP - 9 is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) which features a reduced level of hydrogen peroxide.

Application Details:

Norox MEKP-9 is an excellent general-purpose methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) type cure initiator for the room temperature cure of polyester resins.  MEKP-9 provides medium to high exotherm characteristics to the cure.

Norox® MEC - EX

Chemical Name:
methyl ethyl ketone peroxide & cyclohexanone peroxide

MEC - EX is solution of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) and cyclohexanone peroxide in phlegmatizer

Application Details:

MEC-EX is formulated for gel and cure initiation for cobalt promoted unsaturated polyester resins at low operating temperatures.

Norox® MEC

Chemical Name:
methyl ethyl ketone peroxide & cyclohexanone peroxide

MEC is a colorless solution of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide and cyclohexanone peroxide in phlegmatizer.

Application Details:

MEC provides excellent cure performance in low and average temperature conditions when used as an initiator with unsaturated polyester resins.

Syrgis Ketone Peroxide Dye Concentrates

Chemical Name:
ketone peroxide pigments
CAS Numbers:
872-50-4

Syrgis Performance Initiators Dye Concentrates are available for selected Norox ketone peroxide products to enable the user to ensure that the peroxide cure initiator (“catalyst”) is being uniformly mixed and applied in unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins.  These dye concentrates are available in permanent or fading formulations.

Application Details:

Benox® L-40LV: Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO)

Chemical Name:
dibenzoyl peroxide
CAS Numbers:
94-36-0

BENOX L-40LV is a low viscosity, sprayable dispersion of dibenzoyl peroxide (BPO).

Application Details:

BENOX L-40LV is a dibenzoyl peroxide (BPO) specifically designed for use in “curing” unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins and can also be used as a polymerization initiator for vinyl monomers, (e.g. styrene, acrylate, etc.).

Benox® C-50: Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) Formulation

Chemical Name:
Dibenzoyl Peroxide
CAS Numbers:
94-36-0

Benox® C-50 is a white, free-flowing powder, consisting of 50% dibenzoyl peroxide (BPO) and a phthalate ester plasticizer.

Application Details:

BENOX® C-50 is a dibenzoyl peroxide (BPO) formulation which can be used as a cure initiator for unsaturated polyester resins in both elevated temperature cure and ambient temperature cure (in combination with amine accelerators) processes.

Benox® B-50: Benzoyl Peroxide Paste (BPO)

Chemical Name:
Dibenzoyl Peroxide
CAS Numbers:
94-36-0

BENOX® B-50  is a fine dispersion of dibenzoyl peroxide in a smooth, non-separating fire resistant creamy paste form (BPO paste).

Application Details:

BENOX® B-50  is a benzoyl peroxide paste (BPO paste) which is principally used as polymerization initiator and curing agent for monomeric vinyl, acrylic, styrene and unsaturated polyester/vinyl ester resins, and copolymers of these resins, provided the plasticizer and water content can be tolerated.
